This Subscription Agreement explains how auto-renewing memberships work in Vaelis. It applies together with the User Agreement and Privacy Policy.
Important: subscription and coins
A subscription is membership time—not unlimited free generation. After you subscribe, each photo or motion render still spends coins from your in-app balance. Vaelis always shows the coin cost before you confirm Generate.
Typical coin costs (current defaults in Vaelis):
- 30 coins for a 4K photo render;
- 100 coins for a motion clip render; and
- 15 coins for a background revision on a saved photo.
Coin packs are separate consumable purchases. Buying coins does not replace a subscription. Buying a subscription does not remove per-render coin costs.
What a subscription provides
A subscription extends your membership status for the plan period you select (monthly, six-month, or annual options shown in Vaelis). While membership is active, you may save creations to your on-device gallery according to Vaelis features.
When a plan activates, any bonus coins offered for that plan are credited once to your balance. The bonus amount is displayed in Vaelis at purchase. Bonus coins are consumed like any other coins when you generate content.
Membership status may be restored through Apple where applicable using Restore purchases on the Subscription tab.
Auto-renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple ID is charged through Apple In-App Purchase at confirmation of purchase and at each renewal.
Price and billing
Prices, taxes, currency, and plan names are shown by Apple at checkout and may vary by region. Apple’s records control the amount charged to your Apple ID.
How to cancel
You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time through Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device. Cancellation stops future renewals. You may keep membership access until the end of the current paid period unless Apple’s rules provide otherwise.
Coin packs and membership
You may purchase coin packs at any time. Coin packs add to your balance and are consumed when you generate. Subscriptions bill membership time through Apple; they do not automatically refill coins each billing cycle except for any one-time bonus coins explicitly shown for a plan at purchase.
Generation processing
When you confirm Generate, your selected preset, prompt, and any reference photo are processed through our in-house systems to create your output. We do not rely on third-party AI vendors for user-facing generation, and we do not upload your content to our servers for storage. Subscription status does not change this approach.
We do not perform facial recognition or biometric identification.
Refunds
Payments are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted through Apple’s standard refund process unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Restore purchases
If you reinstall Vaelis or change devices, you may use Restore purchases in Vaelis to recover eligible subscription status through your Apple ID, subject to Apple’s rules and your purchase history.
Changes
We may update subscription features, plan names, or this Subscription Agreement from time to time. Continued use after an updated version is published means you accept the updated agreement for future billing periods.
Relationship to other agreements
If there is a conflict about subscriptions or billing, this Subscription Agreement controls for those topics. All other Vaelis use remains subject to the User Agreement and Privacy Policy.
